Meet the board of Voyager Space Outreach and the volunteers from all around the world who are helping us achieve our goal of promoting Space and STEM. Be it conducting events in various countries, or writing interesting blog posts, the team behind Voyager Space Outreach works hard every day to take this initiative to the next level.
Mansidak is a 16-year-old student from India, who started Voyager Space Outreach as a small club and then raised it to an international organization. A 'Distinguished Student Award' winner from The New York Academy of Sciences, Mansidak is also a best-selling author of a book on poetry and enjoys various pursuits that combining literature and STEM. He aims to become an Astronaut and an Astrophysicist. Learn more about Mansidak here.
Rebeka Oláh is a 17-year-old high school girl from Hungary. She is generally interested in the world around her and eager to change it for the better. She believes that the youth holds the key to the future, therefore, they should grab every opportunity to bring the best out of it. For her, this opportunity is writing. She believes in the magic of words and stories and that they are able to turn our lives upside down. Rebeka is a successful debater and an enthusiastic student, winning an award from Johnson & Johnson for her winning Essay in one of the New York Academy of Sciences’ STEM Programs. She is writing interactive blog posts for the blog of Voyager Space Outreach.
Ellie Humphreys is a 16 year old student from Hong Kong. She has a huge passion for the STEM areas especially Astronomy and Astrophysics and wants to become an astronaut. She loves travelling the world with her family and friends and learning about different cultures and how our world works. Ellie wants people to believe in a healthier and better future where young adults now can grow up to a more sustainable lifestyle. Ellie is excited to be working with Voyager Space Outreach as a Blog Writer to explore her much loved interests and connect with people who share that same passion.
Ilya Vadimovich Kursenko
lya Vadimovich Kursenko, is the United Nations Comprehensive Test-Ban Treaty Organisation Youth Group founding member, former Governing Body member of the European Youth Parliament, publisher at Russian Foreign Affairs Council. For his commitment during the annual Global STEM challenge in 2016 Ilya Kursenko was awarded membership to the New York Academy of Sciences. He believes that when it comes to improving the state of the world everyone matters and that the youth is not a problem to solve but a problem solver that needs to be engaged into the global political, socio-economic, cultural processes. Ilya serves as the Advisory Board member for VSO.
